Tell me treatment for tight levator ani muscles it was permanently tight from past 3-4 years, tell me the treatment options, general surgeon said it is proctalgia, but it's in chronic form, so tell me proper treatment option.

it is better to tell the symptoms rather than telling a self diagnosis like "tight levator ani" for better understanding for the practitioners like us. there is very much possibility of biased , failed treatment if we are pre decided on the diagnosis. thanks for understanding my view. anyways, probably sitting on warm water and applying one anal ointment will help. also avoid constipation and straining.
