It is a very good drug, and can be taken with psychiatrist advise. Yes it helps in anxiety, it does not cause addiction (does not belong to addiction category medicine or substance). It also helps when having escitalopram induced sexual dysfunction. It has to be taken only under regular psychiatrist consultation, they know how to monitor. All the best.

Mirtazapine 7.5 mg is the lowest dose available for that medication and does not cause addiction. It can be used in a healthy adult for generalized anxiety disorder (gad) safely for a very long time. If having sexual dysfunction during escitalopram was an issue and this medication is not having sexual side effects, you will benefit from taking the medication. To allay your fears, it is a medication without many side effects of adverse effects or drug interactions and a lot of my patients have used it for a long time.
