My mother is suffering from diabetes and some nerve problems. Doctor prescribed gaba hosit tablet. But previously we are giving prebeg m 75 tablet. Is there any difference between gaba height and pregeb m75? Or both are similar tablets?

Hello, thanks for the query. Pragabalin and gabapentine both are used to control diabetic neuropathy pain. Pregab is prgabalin and other one is gabapentine. You can continue using pragabalin if that was giving relief. However, most important is to achieve a strict blood glucose control with fasting glucose < 100 mg or closer to 100 mg, pp 150 to 170 mg & hba1c% < 7%. Strict glucose control does help in improving neuropathy. Thank.
