I'm travelling in southeast asia and would like to know if it makes sense for me to get a hepatitis A vaccination. I have been only 1 day here, so I've heard that if I get the vaccination now, it could still provide me protection. But normally the course of treatment takes 3 months or more. Will I have protection from hepatitis a right away, if I take the vaccine tomorrow?

Better you have to take at least 2 weeks before you leave although it can be given up to the day of your departure. You have to take vaccination.
