My mother is diabetic since 15-20 years now. Currently she is on jalra 50: bd gluconorm g4: bd voglibose 0.3: bd pioglitazone: once after breakfast lantus: 8 units. But still her diabetes is uncontrolled fasting ~ 140 mg/dl pp~ 220 mg/dl hba1c :9.2 what should we do to control her diabetes.

If she is taking all the medicines regularly and following dietary precautions and regular exercise, her insulin will need to be altered. Another type of insulin seems suitable at this stage. you will have to meet a diabetologist and discuss regarding this.
