You have given a typical history and complain of oral submucous fribrosis. Fibrous leathery bands of tissue have developed inside your cheek and palatal mucosa. The first step is to visit an oral pathologist. The protocol of treatment is usually starting a medicines and getting a histopathological report since this is a premalignant condition and have chances to turn into malignancy. Do not worry, do not panic, its a common disease in chewing tobacco users. Stop all oral habits and you can start with antioxidants and vitamin tablets, like sm firbo (2tabs each, twice a day) and absolute 3g (1 tab after breakfast) for a month, very effective for initial osf. Use a hexidine mouthwash twice a day and brush properly as much as you can. Visit you dentist for a scaling once mouth opening increases slightly and he/she can guide you for the rest. You can start with medicines and mouthwash from now. For severe cases, injecting intralesional hydrocortisone can help in mouth opening.

Stop tobacco first. Kindly visit a nearby dentist to judge the thickness of fibrotic bands. Rest you may be given a tablet form. If that doesn't help injection form may be given. If that is of no help either then surgery is advised.

Treatment is surgical that can be done by experienced person only. Medicines are helpful in great extent but cannot cure the disease completely. Antioxidants, muscle relaxants, analgesic and steroids are the drugs commonly used. Exercises are few like blowing balloons, ice cream sticks supported stretching. Please consult in person to get accurate treatment plan specially for you.
