Sir my age is 22 and I am using allercet cold 500 mg tablet for common cold and cough. I just want to ask you that whether this tablet is useful or not.

Partly useful if you have profuse secretions. Otherwise. If it's less then you may get discomfort due to dry secretions. Use saline nasal drops and do steam inhalation along with this tablet and an antibiotic if the discharge becomes yellow.

Yes it does help you even if you have fever, but only if cough is dry, but if the cough has phlegm then you will need an antibiotic.
