My 5 years old daughter had taken varicella vaccination (bio vac) on her 1 and half years old. Now the 2nd dose in 5 yrs. Is biovac a one dose injection?

Varicella vaccine, also known as chickenpox vaccine, is a vaccine that protects against chickenpox. The varicella vaccine is given in two doses. A child should have the first shot at ages 12-18 months. The second shot should be given at ages 4-6 years. Older children and adults should have two shots, with four to eight weeks between the first and second shot.

Varicella is a chicken pox vaccine and you need to take 2 doses of it. You can even follow rapid schedule in which you can take second dose after 45 days of the first dose. Rapid schedule is followed very commonly now a days to get better and quick protection.
