I have undergone ssg and I found bilateral tubal patency. But I have a doubt whether I have bilateral distal end hydrosalphinx. Can ssg results be accurate in accordance with hydrosalphinx? If I have hydrosalphinx means can it be detected through ssg test?

Typically, the sides alternate. On occasion and for some women, an egg may be released from both sides in the same month. If you have one fallopian tube that's affected by hydrosalpinx and one that isn't, pregnancy is technically possible. Blocked tubes are usually diagnosed during a fertility workup. An hsg?a special kind of x-ray?can show tubal blockages. To determine if the blockage is a hydrosalpinx, a sonohysterosalpingography may be needed.
