I am on diabetic tablet (metformin) for the last 8 years of 500 mg before lunch and dinner. Do you think consumption of 10/15 ml of apple cider vinegar mixed with water help me lower my fbs to less than 100? Presently it varies between 105 and 120. If yes, how many times do I consume and at what stage?

Mr Sanjay Baxi, Thanks for the query. I have seen the details given. Your FBG value is quite good. There is no reason to worry about bringing it further down. Plus whether apple cider and vinegar reduce glucose levels at all is a big question mark. You may coninue taking the same. But reduction in fasting glucose has nothing to do with that. It is directly proportional with food intake, exercise and weight maintenance. Looking at your weight, your current BMI is 27.18 kgs (Normal < 23 kgs /Sq meter). In fact looking your age, ideal weight should be about 58 to 59 kgs. That will definitely bring down the blood glucose. Thanks.
