Dear lybrate-user, fludac takes 2-3 weeks to reach the brain and start its antidepressant action. During those weeks, your depression goes on with its course. All that you are feeling since 2 weeks are symptoms of depression. Stopping medicine, is not a good idea. Continuing to take it and take in increased dose is good to lift your depression. If you stop and restart, again it will take 3 weeks to start its action.

It takes four weeks for the medication to act fully. If it is not helping you there are better alternatives, consult a psychiatrist and get the same. Combine with cognitive behavior therapy as well for good result. Good luck.
