My self surendranath 48 years. I am taking mending medicines for depression for a period of 3 to 5 years. Flunil, nexito, mirtazapine. Now I do not have any symptom of depression like lack of self confidence, suicide tendency, no mood changes. But I want to sleep more. I do not care to do my daily activities in time. Some times I feel lazy or mood off in the morning. I can not do my daily activities like any other person. Is this due to depression. After taking medicines my depressive mood gone and after a few years it again comes back. Please let me know whether it's due to depression or not?

sir with long term medication dependency such things are normal but yes they do tell us that there is still work to do....all of us go through phases of low and inactivity in our lives but to be able to bounce back everytime that is what is required.... something should drive you daily to leave your bed...try to do things or pursue activities that you loved once or wanted to do when young but could not...try it it really helps....e.g...colouring....colouring is very therapeutic...or listen to good music, spend time with your friends. sir sometimes you have to put that effort to make things to happen.... are you doing some physical exercise? like.brisk walk or yoga or playing any sport....become passionate about something...a must....I am sure you will feel better and have a different Outlook towards life.... wish you all the best.
