I am a 33 year old female currently lactating. Is it okay to take otc pain killers i.e combiflam for shoulder pain? Will that have any adverse effect on the baby?

It may upset the baby's stomach. For the pain you can try hot fomentation, exercise and simple pain killers like paracetamol. If the pain is unbearable then taking one or two tablets of combiflam is not going to make a lot of impact on your baby.

Combiflam Tablet is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.
