I am 34 years female. Done root canal treatment few years back. The crown came out few months back. But recently I noticed the gum surrounding the treated tooth got swollen, reddish and bleeding. Due to lock down I cannot able to visit a doctor now. So asked my dentist through call and he advised to apply stolin for a week. And I have applied 3 times a day for a week. Now the gum looks normal. But it's bleeding while brushing. So I am feel fear to chew that side. Please advice.

Please continue applying stolin gum paint for a month and don't chew from that side .else the tooth may break. And cap will also not fit there. Kindly wait for sometime. Till things get back to normal and you can revisit dentist and get your cap fitted.
