Actually I am through the treatment for acne condition on my face. Its been 5months I have going through it. But due to lighten I can not be able to contact my doctor for further treatment. Presently I am using cetaphil cleanser and nioclean gel on my face and taking isotretinoin 10 mg capsules fro last 90dasy. Please help in this to cure my skin condition. Also I have consulted a doctor online and she has prescribed me to use azelaic acid based cream. Is this safe to use it now?

Hi. Continue isotretinoin for one or 2 months but with precautions. I hope you have been counseled by dermatologist about that and you have done necessary blood investigations. And aselaic acid is safe, though it can cause irritation in some people. So apply very little amount and wash after 1 hour. If you r tolerating well after 10 days of use you can keep it over night. Exercises and diet also play role. If your acne s not subsiding then hormonal therapy to be started and pcos to be ruled out.
