Every medicine has some side effects, if you have changed your medicine for diabetes control take it for 1 week then get fasting, pp blood sugar test done to know its efficacy. If you have any problem with medicine discuss with your doctot or inform.

Mr Ajay, Thanks for the query. Most of the often used oral antidiabetic drugs are free from major side effects. There is no need to worry about that aspect. However, I do not know why the change from Gliclazide+ metformin to Tenelegliptins is made? Without knowing any part of your diabetes control (fasting, PP & HbA1c%) plus weight, height, diet, exercise and lipid profile etc. I have no further comments. I hope you are aware fasting glucose should be < 100 mg, PP 150 to 170 mg & HbA1c% <6.5% in a well conrolled diabetic patient. Thanks.
