I am 26 years old. I was found fatty liver grade 2. Before 3 months of test my fasting sugar 96 and hba1c (5.4)level is normal. But within 2 months sugar level hike 380 rbs. But I take when glisen mf1 my sugar fallen rapidly. Random hover 55-65. Then gastroenterology Dr. prescribed me bilypsa 4 mg after breakfast. My ggt level goes 369 and sgpt 296 sgot 178. Though I am non-alcoholic. After 2 months of medication my hba1c is 4.7 and sgot 29 and sgpt 38. And last 4 months I am taking bilypsa 4 mg my sugar level fasting hover around 85-95 and post prandial - 90-115. 84 kgs weight reduced to 68. Can I stop bilypsa? If I stop it. Is my sugar level goes up?

Tab bilypsa is useful for diabetes as well as fatty liver disease. You can continue it. There is some evidence that it helps in fatty liver beyond sugar control. Further it does not cause low blood sugar (hypoglycaemia).
