Hello, Thanks for the query. Madam I am sure the doctor treating must have advised about level of TSH to be maintained during the pregnancy period. Plus usually at the time of beginning of pregnancy, Levothyroxine dosage increased by almost 20 to 25%. Because TSH needs to be maintained as follows : 1st Trimester 0/1 to 2.5 mU/L, 2nd Trimester 0.2 to 3.0 mU/L, 3rd Trimester 0.3 to 3.0 mU/L. Therefore your present level is high. Increase the dosage by 12.5 or 25 mcg, per day then check TSH after 4 weeks. You will have to check TSH every 4 weeks till the the completion of delivery. If you have any questions please do come back. Thanks.
