Hi Lybrate-user! hair fall can be due to various reasons. Your reason is mostly attributed to typhoid, and nutritional causes. Please check your complete blood count, lft, vitamin b12, vitamin d levels and s.ferritin levels. Get evaluated and find out the reason for hairfall and accordingly go for the treatment. Once underlying cause is corrected, supplements will be given. Nowadays, a lot of minoxidil free lotions like pro capil, capixyl etc have been there in the market which increase hair growth. Prp ,stem cell therapy are minor procedures which will increase hair growth depending on the severity of hair fall. Talk to your dermatologist and discuss the pros and cons of each .take high protein diet, iron rich foods, omega 3 rich foods, calcium rich foods along with supplements.
