Sir/ madam, I am a patient of ocd. Currently I am on medication for it. My medicines are --- 1/ fluvoxin 50 mg twice a day - one after lunch and the other after dinner, 2/ oleanz plus (half at night), 3/ stamlo beta (half at night) so my question to you is that can I take whole oleanz plus tablet instead of half and if I do, is there any chance of being overdose? My age --25 weight-- 85.

Dear Kushal, Definitely it is NOT an overdose. But the idea is to give minimum dose required for you to improve. Oleanz plus is not the drug for ocd. It is an add on to other tablets (fluvoxin and stamlo beta) to activate them. That is why you doctor has prescribed at a low dose.

No harm you can take full tablet as it contsins 5 mg olanzepine and 20 mgs of fluoxetine. Better put a word ro the doctor who prescribed it before taking.

It is advisable to take doctor prescribed dose. If you are taking it because your symptoms are severe then it is advisable to consult doctor before taking higher dose. If you have accidentally taken increased dose once, then nothing to worry.
