What you are describing is a typical example of muscle strain or what we call as "asthenopia" in clinical terms. Most common cause for such muscle strain/eye strain is the uncorrected refractive error.(means glasses) so, you're either not wearing spectacles or the power of your spectacle glasses is not balancing the error in your eye. You'll have to get your eyes tested for spectacles and I suggest, that you get your numbers tested in a proper eye clinic run by an ophthalmologist. Never go directly to an optical shop to test your spectacles powers, more often than not, these shops do not employ proper techniques and qualified staff to test your numbers accurately and you'll be left frustrated having same symptoms again and again. As far as drops are concerned, i'm afraid optive or any other such lubricant drops wouldn't do you any good, unless you're also having symptoms of dry eyes like grittiness.
