My mother aged 71 with bp, diabetes and pacemaker had a bad fall and fell on her knee & forehead. Both were swollen. The knee swelling is still there pains when standing and when touched. No fracture as per xray. The ortho gave zerodol sp twice a day. But my family doctor says zerodol will interfere with my mothers medicine and so not to take. It will damage kidneys. What is zerodol sp? Is it for bones or just a pain killer? please tell me.

Hello thanks for reaching out. Zerodol sp helps in reducing pain and swelling both. If advised not to take by a physician, you could give her paracetamol 650 mg for pain and an anti-inflammatory like serratiopeptidase for the swelling. Cryotherapy, bracing, rest and guided rehab can help her immensely. Feel at liberty to contact for a detailed consutation regarding her problems.
