Do you have confirmed bilateral SIGNIFICANT renal artery stenosis ?? If yes , which investigation was done for the same. ? If you have only unilateral RAS then still ACE/ARB are recommended.

Go for enalapril 5 mg (brand name envas) but I would still say those studies are randomised trail there are many confounding factors leading to decreased perfusion 1 in 10000 faces that side effect you need not to worry sir.

renal artery stenosis is a rare disease mostly of old people. Rarely in young women. Unless you have been diagnosed as renal artery stenosis dont have to worry about it.
