Having loss of sensations due to vitamin b12 and d defences. My vitamin b12 is 109 and vitamin d is 17. Right now i'm having tightness or tingling in my head, jaw, ears and eyes. Would gabapin will help in my numbness or will this medicine get my sensations back or due to the nerves which are happening like this.

B12 deficiency can cause tingling sensations and occasional numbness in extremities. Your vitamin d levels are marginally low. You need to take injectable preparation of b12. Initially it would be daily im injections for a week, then once weekly for 4 weeks and then once monthly on regular basis. Gabapentin is a palliative medication which can temporarily lessen your neuroathuc pains.
