Hi lybrate-user, petril and ativan are sleeping pills and not treatments for anxiety or depression. Before prescribing medications, we would need to understand any underlying stressor that may be maintaining these symptoms. Feeling upset and having abdominal discomfort could also be due to untreated anxiety. Please get in touch with a certified doctor and discuss your symptoms in detail. *there is always a solution. You just to find someone who is willing to help you get there.*

Hey, lybrate-user. Could you follow up with the psychiatrist who prescribed this treatment plan? It is important to have follow up sessions to chart the progress. Long standing anxiety and depression are best dealt with in therapy. Medications work on your symptoms which is crucial. And therapy helps you work through the underlying thoughts, feelings and behaviour that perpetuate these symptoms. Your therapist would encourage you to reflect on these thought and behaviour patterns and challenge them in a safe environment. You can book a session with a therapist in your city, or you could also reach out to us at heartitout.in/book-a-session hope this helps! take care :)

Dear lybrate-user, who diagnosed your anxiety and depression? If it is a psychiatrist or physician, she/he would have prescribed an antidepressant - not just petril ativan. There is no need to take both petril and ativan. Both are similar group of tablets. They need to be given only for short term. Since how long you are taking these tablets?
