Dear sir, will it be better to switch over to pioglitazone 15 mg in lieu of teneligliptin 20 mg. Since my hba1c is 6.1.lipid alright. S. Creatinine 0.91.sgpt 43 sgot 33 ul. Fbs 107 pps 136. I am on teneligliptin 20 mg for 3 years, repace 50 mg, novastat 10 mg. Weight 58 kg, height 5.11 inch. On moderate diet. Only 3 chappatis at night. I am a diabetic for eleven years. Please suggest whether gliptin can be replaced by pioglitazone.

Yes ,why not. As tenegliptin is much better than pioglitazone as per side effect of drugs. But be sure of your hba1c won't increase.

Nope bcz glitazone is not like gliptin so kindly continue same drugs.
