Will applying coconut oil or vaseline on dark knees help reduce the darkness? Because I have been applying patanjali aloevera gel for more than a month now but have not got any results.

No. Cut a large lemon in half. Squeeze out some of the juice from both halves so that you have two hollow halves or "cups. Apply this on joint. You can rub away any excess pulp, but don't wash area for about 3 hours. Wash off the lemon juice with some warm water. Repeat this every day until the dark skin begins to fade.
