2 years ago I had eczema on eyelids. Dermatologist told im allergic to nailpolish and so I stopped using it after that. Doctor prescribed me desowen cream and tacroz. But the scar never faded away. Yesterday I applied nail polish to my mother. And the next morning I got irritation on my eyelid and it becomes dry and flaky and sometimes itching too. How to overcome this? Can I use desowen again? Kindly advice me.

Hi lybrate-user nailpolish can effect eyelids only if you rub eyes with your fingers after applying nailpolish. Desowen is a steroid and I cannt suggest you to reapply it without seeing the lesion.
