I am 28 years old. I have hypothyroidism and my tsh level is 9.12. Since the last few days am not feeling well. I have swelling in my feet I feel dizzy and I gained weight too. Sometimes my heart beat also becomes fast. What amount of mcg of thyronorm should I take?

lybrate-user ji, thanks for the query. Tsh 9.12 mu/l is a bit high, still considered as sub-clinical hypothyroidism and no treatment is advised. However, when there are specific symptoms present as you have written, then treatment is advocated. Please also get an anti tpo antibody test done to see if the cause for high tsh is hashimoto's thyroiditis (ht). You will need to take levothyroxine.
