I am a 26 year old female, I have had a dull annoying pain in my upper right quadrant/spare rib area for months now. It wakes me up and hurts to press and hurts when I walk but I have visited a doctor and they told me this was a rib injury but I have not injured myself. I tried to take tramadol for it once and it made the pain worse. The pain has been long term although sporadic in nature. I have not tried any other treatment since. What should I do treatment wise and what is this likely to be? Thank you.
