Dr. gave my mom itraconazole 200 mg 1 tablet for 7 days, also metrogyl 400 mg twice for 7 days and alkasol syrup twice for 7 days. But from the 6th day she is suffering from diarrhea. I think it's the side effect. Can someone pls suggest any medicine for her? My mother's age 44 years and weight 85 height 5'7 inches.

For what reason did she take medicine.. Itraconazole is antifungal and not used for diarrhoea... Metrogyl is given to treat diarrhoea and does not cause it. What is her trouble?
