My father is 59 years old, he is diabetic since 15-20 years, and using medicines only (no insulins). He is taking vildazen-m 500, clator lc, urifur sr100, a zilsartan medoxomil 40 mg, multivitamins, teneligliptin 20 mg, pioglitazone. These medicines are being consumed from quite some time. In past few weeks, his tastebuds aren't responding good, he is feeling low and week all the time, weakness is being felt by him, he feels low about life as his body isn't supporting him much, sometimes he feels hopeless about life, he feel he do not have much time. I am feel so bad about it. Please suggest me what can be done, what should be done, I am too worried and nervous about his health, he is always been a enthusiastic person, now he east almost 1/10th what he used to eat initially. He leaves food midway feeling his stomach is full. Please give the necessary suggestions.

However, there is noo mention of important parameters like FBG, PP glucose, HbA1c%, serum creatinine, urea, lipid profile, dietary pattern, extent of daily physical activity (exercises), BP readings and why is he on Nitrofurantoin?
