Hello, Thanks for the query. Your glucose control is quite good. Please check HbA1c%, that should be closer to 6.5%. Reducing PP can be done by bit more exercise and also reducing carbohydrate intake. You may add or increase intake of pulses(dal) and even consider eggs and some cheese. Reduce roti, rice and chapati, potato, etc. Increasing exercise will burn more glucose. That will help in bringing PP down. Thanks.

Dear, for your age, if you have had diabetes for > 10 years, these sugar levels are not too bad. What is your hba1c level? If that is also < 7.5 we can accept this level of control. If your pp values go above 180, reduce the quantity of carbohydrate (rice, wheat, rava, maida) in each meal and increase the quantity of protein (dhal, egg white, fish or chicken). Monitor blood sugars with glucometer as follows. Fasting and pp on wednesday and 2 hour after lunch and after dinner on sunday and maintain a record. If in spite of dietary adjustment you sugar levels continue to be high and if your hba1c is more than 8 % seek a consultation to adjust your anti-diabetic drugs
