2 month back I inhale isopropyl alcohol due to sanitation in office accidentally. After that I was suffering from breathing problems. I went to pulmonologist and have done pft which shows mild restrictions. Dr. prescribed foracort inhaler and montair lc along with flupen m and etiberry beta. After one month same prescription repeated. Now when I stopped the dose problem start and if medicine continue I feel better. Kindly tell me why the mild restrictions is still there or the medicines to be changed. Breathing problem increased during normal work in a day. Please suggest. Thanks cp dahiya ujjain mobile.

Hi Lybrate user. Mild restrictions is less likely to produce these kind of symptoms. You are taking anxiolytic, antidepressants, b blocker. I recommend that these medicine should be revised by psychiatrist if you have much anxiety problem. In restrictive lung disease you should not take etiberry beta. I think you relieved by these medicines not by inhaler. Inhaler may act as placebo. And most important is you should lose your weight. Your bmi is 44 which is very high. At this bmi bariatric surgery is recommended. Bmi should be less than 25. Atleast you should do want you can do for losing your weight. Diet, exercise. Thank you.
