Your blood sugar looks high, both fasting and after meal. The 3 months average is also high. Also your weight is 80 kgs which is to be reduced, to help in sugar control. Follow strict diet control and physical exercises. Inspite of that if sugar remains hush you have to see Dr. in private for drugs adjustment.

Mr. lybrate-user kumar, thanks for the query. I have seen the details. Your blood glucose levels both fbg & pp are quite high as well as hba1c%. Ideally these levels should be fbg< 100 mg or closer to 100 mg, pp 150 to 170 mg & hba1c% < 6.5% considering your age. Therefore it is quite clear that present medication is not adequate. There is a need to upgrade the treatment. We have to look at addition or dosage increase of drugs, dietary pattern, extent of daily exercise. Plus I need to know lipid profile, serum creatinine, urea. So please do all the tests and come back in a private conversation with every single information which is asked. Then I will be able to give specific guidance and also prescribe necessary medication if needed. In this communication we are supposed to give only general guidelines, no drugs can be prescribed. Or else consult a local physician and get necessary upgrade done. Another aspect with a bmi of 25 kgs/sq meter (normal < 23 kgs/sq meter) you are over weight by about 6 kgs. That also needs to be taken care. So decide what you want to do. Thanks.
