Mr Aravindrau, Thanks for the query. I have seen the details given. Following are my comments : 1) Since you have diabetes it is necessary to know how is the glucose control, because all metabolic activities are adversely affected by uncontrolled diabetes or high glucose. 2) There is no mention of weight and height, dietary pattern, extent of daily exercise. 3) Total lipid profile is also necessary to understand the situation. 4) Tablet Lipaglyn is supposed to be helpful n glucose control, since you have not mentioned glucose levels & HbA1c%, no comments can be made. 5) TGL 800 is quite high, Only 10 mg of Rosuvastatin is not going to help at all. 6) Pioglitazone 15 mg twice a day is a bit too high a dose. I would not advise that. Therefore, unless you give all the details it is difficult to give any opinion or suggestion. So please come back with all the necessary details then I will be able to guide. Thanks.

Dear lybrate-user, your triglycerides may be very high if your sugars are not under good control. For us to comment about your medication for high triglycerides we need to know what your hba1c is, what the rest of the lipid profile is, whether you have in addition any thyroid disorder and whether you consume alcohol regards
