I diabetic last 4 years almost normal values tablet taken glycomet gp 1 mg per day. But recently s.bilirubin total&direct increase the value sgot, sgpt & alk phosphate normal. what causes next what Dr. consult.

Dear lybrate-user, isolated increase in total and direct bilirubin is usually due an inherited defect in bilirubin metabolism (dubin johnson syndrome). This is a benign condition and does not interfere with your normal activity or life span. I do not think it is related to your anti-diabetic medications
