Dear doctor, I am suffering from acute low back pain associated with lower abdominal pain both in right side for last 2-3 days. The intensity of pain remains very high during early morning and improves marginally thereafter. I am also a patient of hypertension and taking the following medicines 1. Amtas 5 2. Rosufit cv 10 in this pandemic situation as no doctors are available for physical diagnosis, please suggest me what medicines should I take to get rid of this position. Regards.

Hi lybrate-user sir, this may be because sudden strain in your back. Early morning pain may be due to some swelling or inflammation in your back and as the day process the movement relieves the pain. Check your bed also, and sleeping position. My gentle advice will be give hot water fermentation (hot bag) minimal warmth over your back for 10-15 mins every 4-5 hours once for 3-4 days. This pain will subside and learn the basic exercises to make your spinal muscles strong to prevent re-occurance.

Hello pain in lower back associated with lower abdominal pain on same side can be due to reasons other than spine. We need to rule out kidney/ureteric stones. Kindly get in touch for a detailed evaluation and further recommendation.
