Cut a large lemon in half. Squeeze out some of the juice from both halves so that you have two hollow halves or "cups. Apply this on joint. You can rub away any excess pulp, but don't wash area for about 3 hours. Wash off the lemon juice with some warm water. Repeat this every day until the dark skin begins to fade.

Hi Lybrate-user! your problem seems like addisonian pigmentation. Need blood tests like b12, s.cortisol levels, tsh, ferritin levels ,rbs, cbp esr levels etc to assess the internal health as both are associated in dermatology. Most of the times, spots will respond to azaelic acid / glycolic acid creams. But be sure to start the cream at night along with sunscreen application in the morning. Many procedures like chemical peeling, microdermabrasion, lasers etc can treat you better and give good results. Please do post pics or consult online for getting good guidance and treatment.

First of all rule out the causes of such pigmentation by doing some basic investigations (like complete blood count, blood sugar, vit b12. Iron level, serum cortisol level etc and then treat accordingly. U can use glycolic acid 12 on knees for some time if not helpful with ga 6 .consult nearest dermatolgist.
