I hve been using panderm cream on my face since 6 years. I was happy tht my face got lightened, but now I got to know that its steroid and when I stop applying it even for 2 days my face become dark with rashes, it becomes itchy. I just want to discontinue and get rid of all these problems. I have even read that face becomes more ugly once you stop using the cream after long term use, so im afraid. So what can I do?

You need to immediately consult a qualified dermatologist for proper assessment of the damage and rebound effects and have regular follow ups because it is quite difficult to treat if the patient is non compliant with instructions and medications. You can apply aloe vera juice/gel from its leaf (fresh, not from readymade gels available in market) on your face. Remove skin of an aloe vera leaf. Take /scoop out gel. Apply this gel to your face skin. Wash with plain water after an hour. Stop using soap on face. Instead take a spoon of milk, add a pinch of turmeric (haldi). Mix n apply on face with the help of cotton. Leave for a few minutes then wash off. Apply moisturizer like coconut oil. Simple honey mask--before applying this mask, rinse your face with warm water to open up pores. Then apply honey and leave it on the skin for 30 minutes. Rinse the honey off with warm water; then rinse again with cold water to close the pores. Use some sunblock with spf (at least 50) every time you go out in sun. Panderm contains highly potent steroid which damages facial skin even if you use it for short term like 2 weeks (6 years in your case. If you use steroid for long period den skin becomes steroid dependant (we cal it tsdf - topical steroid dependant face. After long term use if you stop steroid suddenly you wil develop paradoxical reaction of steroid.
