Hello doctor am currently using pernex 5% and doxycycline for treatment of acne for the last 8 days .am much improved, the rash and pimples have dried up but am left with dark spots and my face has become very dark. My question please ,can I use clob b to brighten up and clear the spots? Thank you.

You can apply aloe vera juice/gel from its leaf (fresh, not from readymade gels available in market) on your face. Remove skin of an aloe vera leaf. Take /scoop out gel. Apply this gel to your face skin. Wash with plain water after an hour. Stop using soap on face. Instead take a spoon of milk, add a pinch of turmeric (haldi). Mix n apply on face with the help of cotton. Leave for a few minutes then wash off. Apply moisturizer like coconut oil. Simple honey mask--before applying this mask, rinse your face with warm water to open up pores. Then apply honey and leave it on the skin for 30 minutes. Rinse the honey off with warm water; then rinse again with cold water to close the pores. Use some sunblock with spf (at least 50) every time you go out in sun. Plz don't .it contains steroid. You have two options - either go for a chemical peel which helps you to lighten up the spots and get a glow to your face you can use safer pigment reducing creams (non steroidal) along with vit c.

Never use clo b or any steroid on face. Dark spots slowly fade away in months/years. If you want fast removal of these spot, you can use depigmenting creams without steroid chemical peels and proper facewash and regular use of sunscreens. You should consult all these points to your consultant dermatologist.

Clob b cream has a strong steroid in it and should never be used for the face as it has many side effects. Pernex ac 5 percent has action on dark spots as well. Use of a sunscreen in the morning will give good results.

Hello. Never use clob b for dark spots on face. It wil severely damage your facial skin. Complete the course of tab doxycycline and use pernex 5 percent for sometime til you develop no new lesions of acne. Use sunscreen during daytime and it wil help you to clear the dark spots. Other skin lightening cream can be advised only after proper examination. Thanks.
