Further no instructions have been given weather I should continue taking medicines is not clear including lantus inj. But I have been continuing. My present hba1c is 7.14% and mbg is 160 mg/dl. What should I continue please suggest. Thank you.

Mr Suresh, Thanks for the query. I have seen the details given. You haveonly mentioned HbA1c% and mean glucose level. There is no mention of either fasting and PP glucose which are more important considering the daily glucose levels for controlling the infection. Those values are more relevant. As regards the taking oral drugs you will have to continue taking all the earlier drugs along with Mixtard insulin also. Thanks.

Hello you need to continue. I suggest you to start homoepathic treatment so that you can slowly reduce insulin units. It helps to maintain sugar levels to normal. Share covid 19 reports with me.
