Hello, thanks for the query. From the information given, I can understand that you are a diabetes patient aged 40 years. Beyond that there is no other information. Please tell me how do you suspect b12 deficiency? Without actually testing for it, we can not say that some has b12 deficiency. Please tell me the reasons why do you think so? As regards taking multivitamin supplement one can do it. But if and when needed. Most important aspect of diabetes treatment is to frs and foremost is t achieve a strict blood glucose control. Considering your age, it is very essential to have fbg < 100 mg or close to it. Pp 150 to 170 mg & hba1c% < 6.5%. Since there is no information about weight, height, exercise, glucose leveels and hba1c%, no further comments can be made. Thanks.
