I have been taking psychiatric treatment for excoriation ocd and health anxiety since last 7 months but there is no improvement in my condition yet. Dr. Gave risdone mt0. 5 for 4 months then quintin 25 for 2 months, flunil 40 for 5 months, clonafit 1 mg for 4 months, etilaam pro 20 for 1 month, ciplar 10 for 20 days. And finally I am on fluvoxin cr 100 and serlift 25. Kindly help, I am frustrated with my behaviours since past 20 yrs.

You are too obsessed with your looks, appearance and health and it seems to have gone out of your control now and it is controlling you. additionally you require erp therapy to understand your triggers of skin picking .with erp you can be trained to become more self aware of your behaviour and know how to calm your compulsion to pick your skin. Dear lybrate-user, of course, it is difficult to live with ocd for 20 years. Your doctor is going methodically with low dose of tablets and slowly increasing the dose. Right now you are still on low dose of fluvoxamine and serlift. It will be increased to 400 mg in due course. Be hopeful that you have decided to take treatment instead of suffering with ocd. Meet the same doctor frequently so that optimum dose can be fixed.
