My Grandfather woke up one morning and was short of breath, he had cough for 1-2 days. We shifted him to ICU in nearby hospital after which his condition improved. Blood reports and CT scans are normal. But after a day his condition worsened again, he was on oxygen mask and heart beat reached 165. Doctors say that there is some problem with the heart, shift him to another . What should we do?

Sudden onset breathing difficulty may due to acute left ventricular failure leading to water in lungs. By looking echocardiography and xray chest diagnosis will be confirmed.
