In such situation only option is to - take drugs that are able to increase Insulin secretion, reduce insulin resistance and improve insulin effectiveness. All these effects are possible with only specific modern medicines. So called alternate medical therapies are not showing any specific effects. Further you have not mentioned anything about present fasting, PP glucose levels and HbA1c%, lipid profile, dietary pattern, weight, height and extent of daily exercise, so it is difficult to comment any further.
