I am ganapathy from chennai I have thyroid problem last 3 years and also I am taking 75 mcg eltroxin tablet last one year last one I am didn't do any thyroid teat. Now it's self last two week I am stopped my tablet because of sore throat after taking medicine and also having a problem excessive thirst during after taking medicine now it's self I am taken a test of thyroid please give me your valuable suggestions.

Dear Mr. lybrate-user, can you let us know what the t3 t4 and tsh values are after you stopped eltroxine? Your other symptoms such as sore throat and excessive thirst are probably not related to thyroid medication. Do check your fasting and pp blood sugars also and let us know
