Hello, Thanks for the query. Madam hypothyroidism is a hormone (Thyroxine produced by your thyroid gland) deficiency disorder. The only treatment for it is to take adequate dosage of Levothyroxine for lifetime. Now since TSH has gone so high, you will have to start with a higher dosage. Then check TSH again after 6 weeks and if it has come down too low, then dosage may be adjusted. But for now please take the prescribed dose. Thanks.
