Hello I did vajrasana for 4 -5 days as recommended by an Ayurvedic doctor. Then I stopped doing coz it was not comfortable for me. I have been having knee pains n stiffness in my legs (which I hadn?t before the asana) have been applying heat n Volini for the past ten days but not that much relief. If one cud suggest the treatment (especially home remedies what to apply or eat like turmeric milk)

Do regular exercises advised by physiotherpist. Apply hot pack on painful area. Go for x ray of both knee. Avoid palthi, ground sitting, stair climb, knee bending activity.

Since you have mentioned muscular dystrophy as an associated condition, I am not sure about your muscle power in your limbs and the ability of ambulation. However, my general advice is that you should not do any activity beyond the power of the part. For knee pain, you should do quadriceps muscle (front muscles of thigh) contraction and relaxation exercises at least 50 times, besides moving the knee full available range 20 times twice daily. Take milk regularly, stay in sunlight for 15/20 minutes exposing body parts. Take calcium 500 mg elemental form with vitamin d for two months. Take paracetamol 650 mg for pain if needed. Hot fomentation will also help.
