Hello, thanks for the query. I have seen the details mentioned. Please clarify why did you change the dosage of levothyroxine (75 mcg/day) to alternate day? Was it on any doctor's advice or on your own? Because your tsh with 75 mcg levothyroxine was vey well controlled. Taking such random decisions is absolutely wrong. Please understand hypothyroidism is a hormone deficiency disorder, where your thyroid gland is not able to produce enough quantity of t4 (thyroxine) hormone. This hormone is required for multiple metabolic functions in the body every day, every moment. It is required for normal functioning of vital organs like brain, heart and many chemical reactions. Hence, needs to be supplemented daily for lifetime. Thanks.

Alternate day thyroid replacement is not a suggested protocol for thyroid treatment. Reduce to 50microgram and take regularly. Don't bother about cholesterol. With correction of tsh it will be automatically lowered down.
